Traveling

Salmenharju started its traveling business in the beginning of the 21st century. At first it concentrated on arranging different types of events for schools and groups of children such as naturedays and farmlife-teaching happenings. Today one has opportunity to rent cottages as well as get to know farms life and make short trips to the path in the forest nearby. Path is about 2 kilometres long and Tiipii along it has places for ten people. One has chance to cook and make coffee by the fire. One can also fish and pick berries and mushrooms. Guided fishing and other trips can be arranged also. In the wintertime one can cross-country ski near the cottages. There are about 15 kilometres of skiingstrails and one of them goes from Salmenharju to the centrum of Konnevesi. Along the skiingtrail there is a hill about kilometre from the cottages in where children can play.

Salmenranta

Log cabin for 5+2 persons located by Lake Liesvesi. Dinner set for 12, nearest neighbour 100 meter, Konnevesi centre 5 kilometres. Ground floor: kitchen with full equipments, fireplace, toilet, shower, sauna, big terrace. Upper storey: bedroom, living room with tv, balcony. Outdoor: grill, smoked sauna, sandbox, swing, terrace with opportunity to dance, boat and opportunity to rent a canoe and surf board.
